Orange Blossom Wheat Midge Larvae observed on the soils surface on June 2nd. With the cool temperatures and late planting we are setup for a heavy midge flight. Please stay tuned for updates. Also do not hesitate to call with any questions.

The begining of Stripe Rust in winter wheat. There are heavy levels of innoculum in the area this year, and with the rust outbreak in Washington we will see more coming in on the winds. Spraying a preventive Fungicide is your best defense, but if you already have rust in the feild be prepared to spray once maybe twice more before harvest. Please be diligent in scouting your feilds and if you need help please contact us.
Our direct-to-consumer connection – on supermarket shelves or at corner convenience stores – continues to expand for CHS, but no where is that more evident than at our rural retail locations.
